The President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, formally received a high academic delegation from Lund University of Sweden on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. The visit aimed at discussing certain matters related to the educational process of both universities. Moreover, both sides initiated talks concerning the mobility of staff and students in order to be enriched with extensive knowledge and culture. That is, the University of Zakho will cordially receive the staff and students from Lund University for educational purposes, and vice versa.

Notably, the project was organized by the Remote Sensing and GIS Center at the University of Zakho, and the GIS Center at Lund University. The project will be supervised by Dr. Yaseen T. Mustafa, Dr. Karwan F. Sami, and Dr. Naseem S. Khidhir.
